Greetings, fellow cybersecurity enthusiasts! We are thrilled to introduce you to the StudSec blog.

For the newbies, Studsec is the first student-run cybersecurity association in the Netherlands, proudly based at VU Amsterdam. Our mission is to make the cybersecurity field more accessible to every student, regardless of their background or prior knowledge.

Meet the first ever Board:

Together, we are committed to fostering a safe and inclusive educational environment where everyone feels welcome and supported in their mission to advance in the field of cybersecurity. 💻🔐

Every month, we host a series of workshops for different skill levels, with a different topic every time. This is in addition to providing co-working spaces and organizing regular social events.

Another exciting activity we do is participate in CTFs (the cybersecurity version of a hackathon) together. This way you get to learn while doing, and prepare for our biggest annual event: the VU CTF! 🏁

What started out as two students working in cybersecurity, has now become a community of over 450 interested individuals and 100 registered members, all thanks to their willingness and dedication to spread the knowledge! 📖
